Hi Helen!

RIP Robin Williams.  
Batty Koda was a character he voiced in a movie-that-doesn't-hold-up-so-great called Ferngully: The Last Rainforest. The Genie from Aladdin is probably his best animated role... but for some reason when a wee little girl named Katie saw this movie in the theater, she thought this bizarre bat was the best and drew him all the time... So I figured it was appropriate that I drew something quick of him tonight.  I forgot how much fun he was to draw.

Like many, I'm saddened and shocked by Robin Williams death... especially with the way it happened.  But depression is a terrible illness and can take hold of anyone.  I feel like there a big empty space in my childhood now, but at least I have a lot of fond memories and I'm thankful for that.  He left one hell of a legacy behind.
